In the midst of a busy life, many people find it difficult to notice God\u2019s action in their daily affairs. Yet at the deepest level of our lives, we long for more conscious experience of God\u2019s presence and love.<\/p>\n                    <p>Spiritual direction will help you reflect deeply on the experiences of your daily life, find God in all things, see work as prayer, recognize God in people, places and events of life. Through Spiritual direction you may come to realize how God\u2019s Spirit is truly with you every day and everywhere.<\/p>\n                    <p style=\"text-align: left; line-height: 1.6;\">\n                      <span style=\"font-weight: 700; font-size: 1.125rem;\">What should You Look for in Spiritual Direction?<\/span>\n                      <br style=\"color: rgb(34, 42, 58); font-family: Arial, Georgia, &quot;Bitstream Charter&quot;, serif; font-size: 14px; font-style: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-weight: 400; letter-spacing: normal; orphans: 2; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255); text-decoration-thickness: initial; text-decoration-style: initial; text-decoration-color: initial;\" id=\"isPasted\">Spiritual Direction is not really about being \u201cdirected,\u201d but it is about being encouraged to draw closer to God. <span style=\"font-weight: 700;\">Spiritual Direction will help you to:&nbsp;<\/span>\n                    <\/p>\n                    <ul>\n                      <li id=\"isPasted\">deepen your prayer life and help you to respond to God\u2019s revelation as you experience it in the daily events of your life<\/li>\n                      <li id=\"isPasted\">discern a particular decision or call in life<\/li>\n                      <li id=\"isPasted\">notice God\u2019s presence in your life and your prayers, to savor, to relieve and to respond to your experience of God<\/li>\n                      <li id=\"isPasted\">Share your struggles, pain, and gratitude with God<\/li>\n                    <\/ul>\n                    <p>\n                      <span style=\"font-weight: 700; font-size: 1.125rem;\">Spiritual Direction will not:<\/span> give you a list of \u201cshoulds\u201d about how to live your life (the focus is not problem solving) or provide psychological counseling or therapy, although it may give helpful suggestions from time to time. Spiritual Direction is different from therapeutic relationships. Therapy mainly deals with problem areas and attempts to resolve issues. Spiritual Direction deals with finding and responding to God in all aspects of life. &nbsp;Spiritual Direction invites you to relationship with God where you are in the faith journey.&nbsp; \n                    <\/p>\n                  <\/div>\n                  <div class=\"fr-view u-clearfix u-rich-text u-text u-text-6\">\n                    <p style=\"text-align: left; line-height: 1.6;\">\n                      <span style=\"font-weight: 700;\">&nbsp;<span style=\"font-size: 1.125rem;\">What is the Role of a Spiritual Director\/Companion?&nbsp;<\/span>&nbsp;\n                      <\/span>It is conversation that enables you to understand and express your own living of faith, hope and love, and to enable you to discern and respond to the experience of God\u2019s presence and love. A contemplative atmosphere will help you notice how God\u2019s Spirit is truly with you everyday and everywhere.
