Brief Job Description

Elementary school gym teacher to work with very young children from Pre-K to 4th Grade, who can create interactive games that are simple and easy for the students to understand and promote physical activity among students; incorporate students’ interests’ and learning objectives into physical education classes, creates progress report and organize a field day for students at the end of the school year, a patient and caring person who is able to understand the students…

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • The physical education teacher takes the role of physical activity director for the school. He/she is to provide students with physical activity, teach skills and activities, and motivate students to be physically active during the class time period for physical education.

Qualifications: Required Education/Experience

  • Associate degree, bachelor’s degree or years of experience

  • Prepared to work with students on different fitness goals, patient with students,
  • compassionate, physically fit, & respectful of students need and boundaries, friendly, approachable and
  • able to communicate with parents
